Guitar Lessons
As a teacher, I strive to connect with my students–sharing my passion for the guitar and music of all styles to keep them engaged, excited, and motivated to get better. My goal is to create a relaxed but productive atmosphere where students can explore the aspects of playing guitar that excite them the most in addition to learning the necessary techniques, practice methods, and other fundamentals that will make them excellent, well-rounded musicians. Though I mainly focus on teaching Rock, Blues, Prog, Funk, and Classical, I also have knowledge and experience in Jazz, Country/Bluegrass, Folk, Metal, Experimental and more. All ages and skill levels are welcome. I offer a free online video consultation before we get started so we can get to know each other, discuss your musical goals, and go over logistics. After that, lessons are prepaid at the beginning of each calendar month. I am available for lessons online primarily via Zoom (Skype, Google Meet, or FaceTime may also be possible). I also offer lessons at my home studio in Garland as well as in-home lessons across Dallas. My primary service areas are North/Northeast Dallas, Uptown/Downtown, Park Cities, East Dallas, Richardson, and Garland. If you live outside of this area and would like to schedule in-home lessons, please contact me to discuss feasibility. For more information on my Scheduling and Make-up Lesson Policies, please go to the Policies page.
